Deepti had come to Mumbai in the year 1992 to promote her handicraft factory in Meirut. She was in touch with an ad agency to do this. Later(thankfully) Deepti got married and turned her attention to television. She started her own production company Deepti Bhatnagar Productions (DBP). She has a successful run at television with shows like YATRA, a world travel show, which she has anchored for and also produced. The other travel show Musafir Hoon Yaaron has created a traveler out of the glamorous Deepti Bhatnagar who has travelled to as many as 85 countries
